IF the reviews and celebrity endorsements are anything to go by, Whiskycats - coming to Blackburn on June 2 and Accrington on June 17 - are the next big thing.
"Completely blew me away," said radio DJ Phill Jupitus.
"This band sparkle both live and on record. They are original, talented and by jingo they make you dance," added Suggs when they appeared on his radio show.
They've even been described as "the party gods of Manchester's unsigned scene" but according to the band that's just because everyone fancies saxophonist Felix Hughest.
They claim their music has created a new genre that won't fit into any previous category something that brings a smile to your face and makes you want to move.
Whiskycats is made up of Matthew Walker on vocals and guitar, Sam Draper on drums, Felix Hughes on saxophone and drums, Piers Moth on bass guitar and Dave Chapman on trumpet and percussion.
Whiskycats play Jazzy Kex in Blackburn on June 2 and the Attic in Accrington on June 17.
