TWO young stars from East Lancashire are now appearing at Manchester’s Lowry in Peter Pan Goes Wrong.
Isabella Jo Harding-Dunn, 12, from Rossendale, and 14-year-old Emily Royle, from Haslingden, are among Pan’s lost boys.
Presented by Hale-born producer Kenny Wax, the production is a comedy spin on a classic family favourite from Mischief Theatre. Producers have searched the north west for rising young stars to tread the boards, alongside the ensemble 10-strong cast.
Peter Pan Goes Wrong introduces The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society, who are attempting to stage J.M. Barrie’s classic tale of Peter Pan, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong… does.
And it results in the accident prone actors embarking on a thrilling adventure to Neverland, with hilariously disastrous results. Peter Pan Goes Wrong is directed by Adam Meggido, with set designs by Simon Scullion, costume designs by Roberto Surace, lighting design by Matt Haskins and sound design by Ella Wahlstrom.
A donation from every ticket sold will be given to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Audiences can take their seats until Sunday, January 11.
