Leffe Brune is a dark abbey beer weighing in at a hefty 6.5 per cent.
Pouring an intense ruby colour with a decent head, it has a spicy aroma to it, which is very much evident in the first mouthful.
The spicy initial taste gives way to a malty finish.
It’s an ideal barbecue drink and the perfect accompaniment to all that red meat I am sure we will all be slapping on the flames as soon as the weather allows.
