Yes, it’s a white from the Marlborough region of New Zealand and it is also Sauvignon Blanc — hardly a surprise.
But there’s a reason why we see so much of this grape from the Kiwis.
Quite simply it is lovely stuff, full of gooseberry and grapefruit flavours and with a grassy dryness.
