Brave fundraisers collected a staggering £24,646 for good causes by taking part in a sky dive.
The ‘Forgotten Ummah Charity Sky Dive’ saw friends from Brierfield and Burnley jump from 15,000 feet at Black knights Parachute Centre in Lancaster. One volunteer said, “It took eight weeks to organise and a big thank you to our team of fundraisers.”
The charity fundraisers included, Alam Zeb Khan, Tariq Khan, Haider Khan, Anwar Khan, Suleman Farooq, Imran Nazir, Junaid Afzal, Mohammed Usman, Ibrar Hussain, Baqir Jalal, Amar Zaman, Sufyan Nazir, Qasim Sharif and Umar Jalani.
Funds were sent to Syria, Palestine, Pakistan and Somalia to registered charities in the UK.
