JONNY Brown, frontman of cult rock band Twisted Wheel, is to play a solo show at the Cellar Bar in Blackburn in November.
Formed in Saddleworth Twisted Wheel supported Oasis at their legendary Heaton Park gigs in 2009 and also backed the likes of Paul Weller, Kasabian and The Enemy. They also played major UK festivals including Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds where their live shows saw them develop a major following.
They released a debut album, Twisted Wheel, in 2009 with a follow-up, Do It Again, being released three years later.
The band underwent line-up changes before finally disbanding in 2014 and now Brown is coming to Blackburn as part of his Back in the Living solo tour.
At the show support will come from The Slydes and Roosevelt Rooms. There will also be a firework display as well as a bonfire outside in the courtyard area.
The night will end with an indie club night.
