The Year 13 BTEC Creative Media Production students took part in a masterclass from ex- Media and Film student Sam Fenton at the end of last month.
The students are about to start their production unit based upon producing a music video, so this was an ideal opportunity for Sam to come in and speak to them about his experience in the industry.
Sam is a director, filmmaker and the owner of his own production company that produces music videos, advertising campaigns and promotional videos.
One of his short films has also been previewed at The Raindance Film Festival.
Sam talked through the production process, showing his own work, key equipment for shoots, the things to avoid and key tips and guidance on music video production.
