IF you look closely at this photograph, you may wonder if you are seeing double.
For this old school photograph of St James CofE School, Blackburn, shows two sets of twins.
It’s the class of 1959/60 and the fresh faced happy smiling youngsters include the Watt twins, who are second and third from left on the back row and the Taylor twins.
You can spot them second from right on the front row and fourth from the left on the second row up.
The photo has been sent in by David Fryer of Blackburn who asks: “I wonder how many more classes will have had two sets of twins.”
He has also pointed out that many of the young pupils will have or will be soon celebrating their 60th birthdays.
Among the names he remembers from those days are Cynthia Dixon, and lads called Sharples, Green, Backhouse, McGlory, Harrington and and McCloud.
Can you spot any others you know?
