DANCE is probably as old as human life itself.
Down through the millennia people of all cultures right cross the world have expressed themselves through dance.
They've used dances for rituals, celebrations, entertainment, display and pleasure and over time, a variety of different dances have evolved.
There's ballet, tap, ballroom, folk and street dance, as well as morris dancing, disco and river dancing, which have their own particular steps, expressions and costume.
Today we take a look at some dancers from East Lancashire enjoying their own form of dance, while also providing entertainment for enthusiastic audiences over recent decades.
