DID you spend part of your youth enjoying the vibes at Burnley’s Circulation Club?

In this advert in November 1974 it announced its grand Wednesday re-opening, promising customers a big mid-week night out.

For its opening night, there was live music, with the Swinging Blue Jeans top of the bill. Do you remember their hits, the Hippy Hippy Shake and Good Golly Miss Molly?

Also appearing were Rainbow Cottage, with their latest release Mam, Dad and Me, with live DJs also spinning the discs until late.

Tickets cost just 50p and were available from the Holmes Street club or Electron Records in Hall Street in the town centre.
