STANLEY M. ASTLEY (Stan) Peacefully in Royal Blackburn Hospital on Thursday, 18 January 2018, Stan, the loving and well-loved husband of Joan for 63 years, died age 85. A loving and much loved and respected father of Ian, Janet and Trevor, and father-in-law to Rosina, John and Tomoko. A fantastic grandad to Ben, Emma, Rebecca, Simon, Natsumi, William, Samuel and Mari, and a loving great-grandad. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. A family service of committal will be held at Pleasington Crematorium Blackburn followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Bethesda Blackburn Baptist Church on Friday, 26 January 2018 at 2.00 pm. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if so desired, may be made in memory of Stan to The British Heart Foundation c/o Alty's Funeral Service. Black attire not required. Enq.
