ALAN HEDGES On Saturday 11th October 2014, passed peacefully with his family by his side in Royal Blackburn Hospital, Alan aged 67 years. Beloved husband of Wendy, much loved dad of Darren and his wife Barb and Mark and his wife Andrea, treasured grandad of Joseph, Kharis, Owen and Neeva and a dear brother. Alan will be remembered by all who knew him for his continued humour and dignity during the last two years of his life as he bravely battled Motor Neurone Disease. He will also be remembered for his love of art as a futurist concept designer. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Mincing Lane. A 10.45 am service and committal will take place on Friday, 17th October at Pleasington Crematorium. Mourners are requested to wear bright clothing to reflect Alan’s love of life.
