ROBERT ASHCROFT (BOB) On Thursday, August 14, 2014, at his home, Bob aged 86 years. Dearest and devoted husband of Sadie, much loved dad of Christine, Pauline and Ann, loving father in law of Robert and Ian, cherished grandad of Robert and Katy, Lisa and Chris, Harjer, Binean and Sean, great grandad of Cameron, James and Ethan and much loved brother of John. Will be loved and remembered always. Reposing in the Darwen Chapel of Rest, Blackburn Road, Darwen. The funeral service and committal will take place at Pleasington Crematorium on Friday, August 22 at 2:15 pm. Family flowers only please but donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or Breast Cancer Care c/o Darwen Funeral Services 59-61 Blackburn Road, Darwen.
