Full-back Kieran Trippier is expected to be fit for Burnley's clash against Ipswich at Turf Moor.

The right-back came off in the 2-0 win over Wigan with a knock on Easter Monday, which sealed the Clarets' automatic promotion to the Barclays Premier League, but trained on Thursday and should be okay.

Despite knowing their elevation into the top flight is confirmed, boss Sean Dyche has urged his players to finish with the maximum points possible, although he may consider making changes as he looks to assess his fringe players ahead of next season.

Striker Sam Vokes (knee) is definitely out after recently undergoing surgery while young defender Luke O'Neill (thigh) is also absent.

Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy will check on the fitness of Sylvan Ebanks-Blake before they visit already-promoted Burnley.

The former Wolves striker has made just two starts this year and, despite being touted for a return in Monday's 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, he continues to struggle with a hamstring problem.

Unlike his team-mate, Paul Anderson did recover from a similar problem to start against the Cherries and a goalscoring performance should have done enough to secure the wideman's starting berth once again.

Striker David McGoldrick (knee) is a long-term absentee and will not feature as the Tractor Boys look to boost their chances of a play-off spot with a win.
