AN East Lancashire building society is helping to keep the North West Air Ambulance in the skies with a whopping £38,503 donation.
Marsden Building Society raised the figure through its affinity accounts and fundraising over the past year.
Since starting its affinity accounts four years ago, Marsden has supported the air ambulance charity with more than £120,000.
The charity relies on donations to remain operational and saving lives.
Jenny Haskey, head of fundraising at the air ambulance, said: “We are delighted that Lancashire’s biggest building society has continued to support the charity. Last year, we flew more than 1,800 rescue missions throughout the region.”
Marsden has offices across the region including in Barrowford, Nelson and Colne.
