A MAN has died in a outdoor accident in Rawtenstall.

Police are not treating the death as 'suspicious' but are describing the circumstances surrounding the death as 'unexplained'. 

Police were called to Fernlea, in Bury Road, Rawtenstall, at 8.20 this morning after reports the casualty was not breathing.

The road and air ambulance were at the scene.
