THIS year’s Clitheroe Food Festival will take place on Saturday, August 9.
Last year’s event saw more than 100 stalls, offering hog roasts, award-winning ales, curries, and a pudding feast, attract around 18,000 people.
Food critic Matthew Fort, star of BBC TV’s Great British Menu, who is from Clitheroe, hosted the event, which first ran in 2010.
Preparations for this year’s event are still underway and more details are set to be released closer to the date. August’s event saw celebrity chefs, including Nigel Haworth, also gave demonstrations to the crowds who gathered in the town centre.
