John Eustace was unable to report any progress on the Blackburn Rovers recruitment front as they continue to search for attacking additions.
A striker and a left winger remain a priority for Rovers before the end of February 3. The Lancashire Telegraph understand versatile forward Augustus Kargbo is a target and talks have been held this week.
But there still remains plenty to do for Rovers in the final 10 days of the transfer window. Sadly, Eustace did not have anything concrete to report.
"I don't expect anyone to go out," Eustace said.

"The club are working hard to get the right players in. There are lots of games in January so yes, it would've been great bring in players before the end of the month but, you know, it hasn't happened.
"We've brought a couple of real good, experienced players in to help the group. But I know the club are working really hard to bring the right targets in, so, you know, that's all I can ask for.
"I'm not aware of anything imminent or being on the table."
A left-back is also desired to give cover for Owen Beck. Harry Pickering will not be back before March and has already missed a month of action.
With injuries across the back line being a real issue, that remains an area Eustace would like to add to.
"Yeah, that would be brilliant. Obviously, Picks is still another six or seven weeks away from fitness," he said.
"Again, with Owen, it's important that we look after Owen as much as we can. It's very difficult because he's our only left-footed player really in the team and he plays such a vital part in how we want to play.
"So, it's difficult to leave him out, arrest him, but it's something that I would like to do if the opportunity came that we could bring another quality player in that position.
"He's coming up against really experienced championship players now in wide areas. This league's relentless. We're playing against teams who either want to get into the top six or they want to stay in the league.
"The league is that wide open, so there's no time to have a rest, no days off when you're playing. So, the level of his performances have been very good, in my opinion. I just hope we can keep him fit and he can keep going."
Kyle McFadzean was a departure this week, joining Chesterfield on a permanent deal. Eustace has not ruled another similar mould of experienced addition and praised the role he played at the club.
"Yeah, possibly. Again, we've lost great experience and I know he didn't play much this season, but what he gave us off the field was excellent. These are things that people don't see," he said.
"They don't understand how to build the right culture at a football club. They just see a 38-year-old who's not playing and they don't understand what experience and how he gives the rest of the group and how he runs the dressing room and how he helps develop the environment.
"If somebody of that ilk can come along again and help, then possibly."
