LANCASHIRE Cricket Club captain Mike Watkinson will be the guest of honour at the official launch of a summer tournament.
Schools from across Blackburn are taking part in the tournament in Witton Park on Wednesday, June 4, and the winner will go through to a county-wide final at Lancashire's Old Trafford ground.
The launch of the event is on Thursday, May 8, at Blackburn Rovers' Ewood Park stadium. Schools should contact Steve Lee on 01254 585408 or Michelle Windle on 01254 585237.
