THE Luke Bryan Appeal Fund committee has decided to hold its second August Bank Holiday Fun Day at Haydock Cricket Club to helkp the brave Haydock boy paralysed in a freak rugby accident.
Last year's event was attended by 2,000 people and the organisers are hoping for an even bigger crowd. This year there's the added attraction of an art exhibition in the clubhouse by talented artist Colin Head from Stafford. Colin was a policeman in St Helens between 1959 and 1965 and hopes that some of his former colleagues might pop in to see his work.
There will also be a table top sale - with a fee of £5 per table - entrants will be allowed to set up after 10am.
Other attractions at the event will include a funfair, games, stalls, fortune teller, bouncy castles, jousting, programme of entertainment, line dancing, kick boxing, morris dancing, gymnastics and aerobics.
