A PRESTON charity is inviting people to come along and have the time of their lives at a one-off fund-raising event.
St Catherine's Hospice on Lostock Lane, Lostock Hall, will be holding a charity weekend full of exciting events starting on Thursday September 14 when ex-rugby international Gareth Chilcott will be attending the Sportsman's Dinner, along with ex-FIFA referee Neil Midgely and comedian Jim Bright.
The event takes place in a giant marquee at Fox Lane Cricket Club, Leyland, and tickets cost £7.50 each. Tickets and information on the weekend's other events are available from St Catherine's Hospice on (01772) 324540.
