A RECRUITMENT drive to attract more members of the Special Constabulary is taking place in the Pennine police division area which covers all of Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale.
A series of open meetings are being held. The next will be tonight at the Rostron Arms, Market Place, Edenfield.
It will be followed by open nights on Wednesday, October 10 at Colne Cricket Club and on Tuesday, October 16 at Haslingden Cricket Club.
The meetings are from 7pm to 9pm. Dates published last week were unfortunately incorrect.
