YOUNG local cricketers are well represented in the East Lancashire Youth Cricket Council team to compete in the AGMA Youth Cricket Festival next week.
The team will be skippered by Greenmount's Stuart Leach and he will be joined by teammate Ryan Senior, Ramsbottom's Andrew Mayo, James Kingsley and Philip Hayes of Radcliffe and wicketkeeper Jonathan Shaw of Bury CC.
Another Bury CC youngster James McGahan is a reserve for the squad.
The East team take on South East Lancashire at Bolton Indians CC on Monday (July 22) WP 10.20am.
A day later they take on the Under-15 Festival Squad at Cheetham Hill CC (10.20am) and finish their pool games aainst Central Lancashire at Little Lever CC (10.20am).
The final, for the Cedric Rhodes Trophy, will be played at Old Trafford on Friday, July 26.
