BURY Cricket Club plays host to one of the finest collections of world talent seen today.
A select XI from the Manchester Association outfit take on Lashings Cricket Club at their Radcliffe Road ground.
Lashings are a team based at a Kent wine bar whose teamsheet reads like a Who's Who of cricket.
Already confirmed for the fixture are Jimmy Adams, Stuart Williams and Junior Murray of the West Indies and Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammed Zahid of Pakistan.
The game is being held to raise money for Hope Hospital's Renal Unit at the request of Bury's West Indian professional Steve Dublin who underwent life-saving kidney surgery there two years ago.
The event starts at 1.30pm and admission is £3 for adults and £1 for children under 16.
