COLNE Cricket Club won their second successive Lancashire Evening Telegraph Team Knockout competition title when they defeated Turton Bowling Club in the final at the Globe Bowling green on Sunday.
Colne Cricket's Andy Crokall won 21-17 to give the holders a good start before Turton claimed the next three games. John Haslam 21-20, Derek Allen 21-12 and Alan Topham 21-18. Glyn Shuttleworth had a 21-4 win for the holders and captain Stephen Clamo 21-10 put Colne Cricket ahead to claim the title, 118-94.
