A BLACKBURN couple have stepped back in time to make a return to run a pub they left four years ago.
Marilyn and Cliff Hutchinson are back at the Gibraltar, in Dukes Brow, Blackburn.
The couple were previously licensees at the Gibraltar for 11 years before they left in 2000 and Cliff took over as steward at Cherry Tree Cricket Club.
Cliff said he will remain as steward at the cricket club for the time being.
And he said the return to the Gibraltar has meant a re-acquaintance with the familiar faces as well as a lot of work.
Cliff, 56, said: "We like the character of the pub and the customers.
"We are seeing the same faces so we are happy."
