CHILDREN across Bury will be having a BLAST this Easter thanks to Bury Council's latest holiday activities programme.
The Bury Leisure Activities Outside School Term programme, geared to eight to 14 year olds who enjoy a variety of sports and love the challenge of learning new skills, will include specialist coaching in football, rugby and Cricket, multi-sports, games, art and craft, play station, videos and more!
Events are taking place during the Easter half term from 8.30am until 5.30pm each day on Monday, April 5, Thursday April 8 and between Tuesday April 13 and Friday, April 16 (inclusive) at six venues -- Bury Sports Club, Radcliffe Cricket Club, Prestwich Cricket, Tennis and Bowls Club, Sedgley Park RUFC, Walshaw Sports Club and Woodbank Cricket, Sports and Social Club.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Reservations advised through advanced payment by cheque or credit/debit card. Anyone seeking more details or to book a place should contact the council's holiday activities co-ordinator Carly Ibbott on 0161 253 6548.
The events have been organised under the Bury Leisure Activities outside School Term (BLAST) initiative.
