HASLINGDEN have snapped up Rohan Gavaskar as sub professional for this weekend's Lancashire League double header.

The son of Indian Test legend Sunil Gavaskar, Rohan replaces Andrew McDonald, who will return to Australia if he doesn't recover from a back injury by June 1.

HASLINGDEN are away to CHURCH, who make three changes.

Out go Maudsley, Pilkington and Greenwood, to be replaced by Rowbottom, Bury and Mark Gilrane.

TODMORDEN will be looking to bounce back as they travel to Turf Moor.

They lost a nail-biter at Centre Vale last Sunday against Accrington by four wickets with just six balls to go.

An unbeaten 68 from professional Gyan Pandey helped take Tod to 200 but the former Indian one-day International admitted: "Really we need to have put maybe another 20 or 30 runs on the board."

So they will be looking to push the pace against a BURNLEY side who welcome back all-rounder David Brown for the clash.

Brown, who has been padding up for Durham University since leaving Turf Moor at the end of last season, will replace David Shorrock.

At Acre Bottom NELSON field an unchanged side and will be looking to make the most of the trials and tribulations being suffered by injury hit rivals Ramsbottom.

RAMSBOTTOM could be without Mark Dentith, who is due to have a shoulder operation, as they look for their seventh straight win.

Brian Taylor and Alex Bell are stilll missing, while Robert Read will be drafted in.

Jez Hope and Saeed Riaz return for LOWERHOUSE as they bid to bounce back from defeats by East Lancs and Haslingden last weekend.

Manager Stan Heaton, whose side travel to Rawtenstall, said: "It was disappointing but we've only lost two out of the first 10 games - any side would love that record."

RAWTENSTALL will be without key bowler, Keith Roscoe, as he is having an operation on a double hernia.

John Dawson is also out due to work commitments so Rizwan Shafiq and Afrus Ali step in.

Leaders BACUP travel to Colne with Matt O'Connor in top form after scoring his maiden century last weekend. Andrew Spencer steps in for the injured Steve Crowe.

Following his match-winning performances last weekend, COLNE will be looking for more of the same from professional Andre Adams.

Jeff Ellis is out due to work commitments so David Spokes returns to the first team.

ACCRINGTON look set to be unchanged from the side which beat Todmorden last weekend when they travel to EAST LANCS tomorrow.

And vice captain Damian Clarke admits there is confidence in the camp thanks to professional Tama Canning.

"Tama's given everyone a bit more self belief," he said.

ENFIELD entertain RISHTON tomorrow hoping to end their eight-game run without a win.

"It's a huge weekend for us," said captain Mas Ahmed, who welcomes back Blackburn Rovers Academy starlet Keith Barker for a five-week spell.

"We just need to win at least one of our two games this weekend."
