DARWEN climbed to second in the Northern Premier League table with a 72-run win over Lancaster.
They set 250-3 with professional Keith Semple (108 not out) and Neil Cordingley (55 not out) enjoying an undefeated partnership of 135 from just 24 overs.
Jeff Hacking then took six wickets for 36 as Lancaster were ousted for 178.
Chorley notched a winning draw against Barrow.
Professional Stephen John (75) and Neil Senior (92) had a partnership of 123 as Chorley made 238, but Barrow held out for a share of the points closing on 187-7.
Leg-spinner Grav Dhar led the bowling taking 3-16.
