The Radford Family has unveiled early plans to build a mammoth home to accommodate their large brood.

A 10-12 bedroom home complete with a games room and plenty of space outside to keep animals is on their wish list.

The Morecambe-based family-of-24 revealed the news in their latest Q&A which they posted to their YouTube Channel.

In the video parents, Sue and Noel, said they were on the hunt for a plot of land in order to build their dream which is big enough to accommodate the children who still live at home.

Noel said: “We are trying our best to find our own plot so we can build our own house.

Sue said: “It’s something we have wanted to do for so long but I have always been [apprehensive].”

However, the couple are specific about the plot of land they choose and say that it “has to be just right”.

Noel said: “We want to find somewhere that already has planning permission… we’re only ever going to build this one house so it’s got to be right.

“We want about an acre of land because we want to build a ‘biggish’ house for us all but we also want there to be plenty of space where the kids can get out of play

“And for the animals,” Sue added.

The pair explained that family has “outgrown” their current Lancashire home and hope the new one will have a “minimum” of 10 bedrooms, as well as a play area and games room.

Sue said: “We want the kids to have their own space… we’ve grown out of this house.

“We want it to be super private, out in the middle of nowhere.”

However, the hunt for land hasn’t been an easy one as the listings quickly get snapped up by eager buyers.

Sue said: “It’s so hard to find land that’s available and in the right location of where you want it.

“The estate agent said they’re so rare and when plots of land come up they just get sold instantly.

“We’ve also looked at buying [a house] which isn’t off the cards completely.

“But the places we have found are not what we want. We want somewhere with a lot of land and quite a lot of bedrooms.”

Noel said: “If anyone knows of any land within half an hour of Morecambe, please let us know!”

The Radford’s current home has 10 bedrooms, most of which have been renovated in the last year.

Their garden is also lavishly decorated and kitted out with its own flower wall, hot tub, pizza oven and even a bar.
