Colchester United Ladies head to Gillingham Ladies on Sunday, still searching for their first win of the season.
The U’s have drawn and lost their opening two matches of the new FA Women’s Premier League South campaign.
They drew 2-2 with Queens Park Rangers last weekend, with goals coming from Zoe Rushen and Maegan Doyle.
U’s Ladies director of football Kevin Anderson said: “We’re still lacking a bit of match sharpness at the moment.
“We weren’t at our best against QPR but the positive thing is that we still managed to get a result.
“The league is going to be tight again and I’m confident that as soon as we pick up our first win, we can go on and build on that.”
The U’s Ladies take on their Gillingham counterparts at Chatham Town FC on Sunday, kick-off 2pm.
