The Golden State Warriors closed out their first-round NBA play-off series against the Los Angeles Clippers with a 129-110 win to advance to the Western Conference semi-finals.

On Thursday, Kevin Durant’s 45 points came in a losing effort for the Warriors, but he was the hero of game six, scoring 38 points in the first half before going on to amass a total of 50 points, six rebounds and five assists.

The power forward’s dominant first-half display included 10 free throws and four three-pointers, while his 50-point total saw him record back-to-back 40-point games and earned him a new play-off career high.

Draymond Green also produced a solid performance, finishing with 16 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists for his fifth career play-off triple-double, while Stephen Curry added 24 points.

The Warriors go on to face their opponents from last year’s conference finals, the Houston Rockets, who advanced to the second round with a 100-93 win over the Utah Jazz in game five earlier in the week.
