Sam Allardyce will step up his search for a striker after his budget was finalised following Blackburn Rovers' 10th place Premier League finale.
Lens’ Aruna Dindane, Portsmouth’s Frederic Piquionne and Polish striker Robert Lewandowski are believed to be the three most prominent on Rovers’ radar, with approximately £3million expected to be available.
Bolton’s interest in Dindane is believed to have faded over the weekend and the Ivory Coast striker could be Rovers’ preferred target, but a potential deal is understood to be far from simple.
