Sam Allardyce has insisted he is not tempted to sign any ‘free agent’ arrivals between now and the end of the season.
Free agents are still allowed to move clubs outside of the transfer window, but the Blackburn Rovers manager is confident the Rovers squad has enough options to cope.
As he focuses on tomorrow’s trip to Stoke City, Allardyce said: “I can’t see us signing any free agents. With 14 games to go, we are okay as we are."
And he also rubbished suggestions Aruna Dindane’s move to Rovers could be back on due to Portsmouth’s financial woes.
“No Dindane is not possible. Unless the Premier League rang us up and said yes, then of course we would have a look.
"But I can’t see why or how that would happen. You can only sign players that are out of contract now.”
