BURNLEY will be one of four clubs given the entire Darwen End when they visit Ewood Park next season.

Blackburn Rovers recently announced heavily reduced season ticket prices for the 2009/10 campaign and have been delighted by the response, with the Blackburn End and the Riverside Stand already on the way to a sell-out.

Rovers have also offered 15-game season tickets for the Darwen End for just £150, having reopened the lower tier to home fans in the final three games of the 2008/09 season as part of the ‘Crucial 3’ campaign.

But the Darwen End will be populated by only away fans for four matches because of financial and security reasons.

The fourth team is yet to be decided but Liverpool and Manchester United traditionally bring large numbers of travelling fans.

For the four games not included in their deal, Darwen End season ticket holders will be given a week-long purchase priority for the Jack Walker Stand at a specially discounted rate of £25 for adults, £10 for juniors and £15 for seniors and Club 16-21 members.

Simon Williams, head of commercial and marketing at Rovers, said: "The response to the Crucial 3 offer was absolutely fantastic and our goal now is to build on that.

"We want to see Ewood Park, and particularly the Darwen End, packed to the rafters with our own fans.

“We believe this is an unmissable opportunity for our supporters to experience a season of thrills and spills in the best league in the world for the equivalent of just £10 per game.”

Existing season ticket holders have until tomorrow to claim their own seat for next season.
