Sam Gallagher has returned to Rovers on a permanent deal – two years after his initial loan spell.
Gallagher has signed from Southampton on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old spent the 2016/17 season at Ewood Park, scoring 12 goals in all competitions.
Rovers have maintained interest in the 6’4 striker, who played for Birmingham City on loan in 2017/18, and tried to sign him last summer permanently, as well as on loan in January.
And boss Tony Mowbray has finally landed his man who could get his first outing back in Rovers colours at Mansfield Town on Wednesday.
