Rovers defender Ryan Nyambe has one last shot at making Africa Cup of Nations history with Namibia.

The full back couldn’t prevent his side going down to a 1-0 defeat against South Africa on Friday night.

But they complete their campaign against the Ivory Coast later today with an outside chance of qualification, needing to win and for group leaders Morocco to beat South Africa by more than one goal.

The Brave Warriors have qualified for the tournament for a third time but are still looking for their first victory having ended the 1998 and 2008 competitions without a win.

Elsewhere on the international front, Jayson Leutwiler has been with Canada who were knocked out of the Gold Cup in the quarter finals by Haiti after throwing away a two-goal lead.

The Rovers shot-stopper was once again on the bench as Canada were looking to reach the semi finals of the competition for the first time in over a decade.

And it looked like they were on course for a place in the semi finals when goals from Jonathan David and Lucas Cavallini put them 2-0 up at the break.

But three second half goals from Haiti saw them progress to the last four.
