We rate the players after Rovers beat Hull City 3-0 in the Championship on Saturday

David Raya 7

A virtual spectator. Comfortably claimed a Grosicki free kick late in the first half and Bowen’s tame second half effort. Will have busier days

Elliott Bennett 7

Always available and aside from a couple of stray cross field passes he was solid on the ball. Looked to get forward as well

Jack Rodwell 8

Kept his place in the heart of defence with Mulgrew not fit enough to return and opened his Rovers account with first half header in a strong performance

Darragh Lenihan 7

Helped Rovers keep a third clean sheet in four matches. Came close with a header early in the second half and defended resolutely

Amari’i Bell 7

Will have braced himself for a tough afternoon against Bowen but the Hull man was barely in the game. Hurried a couple of clearances

Lewis Travis 8

Seemed to be everywhere in the first half. Brings a huge amount of energy to the team and always wanted to be on the ball. The sign of a confident player.

Corry Evans 8

Kept the game ticking over in midfield, won the ball back countless times and was neat and tidy in possession.

Harrison Reed 8

Lively on the flank. Interchanged with Armstrong and always offered an outlet. His second half display warranted his goal

Bradley Dack 7

Played an excellent slide rule pass for Armstrong opener. Whenever he is on the ball Rovers know he will create something

Adam Armstrong 8

Took his goal very calmly and is playing with confidence. Could have had another in build-up to Reed goal and was full of running

Danny Graham 8

There can be few better with their back to goal in the Championship. Brought others into play really well and left to a standing ovation
