Rovers have signed up recruitment consultancy Monday at Nine as sleeve sponsor for the FA Cup third round replay with Newcastle United.

There will be split loyalties between founder Dan Boneham, a Rovers fan, and director Jonathan Wilson, a Newcastle supporter.

The deal is a one off for this game, with the company joining back of shirt sponsor Watson Ramsbottom Solictor in agreeing deals with the club.

Dan Boneham said: "We saw the sponsorship opportunity posted on LinkedIn and we both agreed it was just too good an opportunity to pass up.

"I've been a Rovers fan since I was a little boy, so to be involved with a club of this size and with the history it's got, it was something we just couldn't turn down."

The business partners were special guests at Rovers' Senior Training Centre on Monday, where they showed off the new-look Rovers shirt to manager Tony Mowbray and the first team squad.

Director Jonathan Wilson added: "We are both massive football fans and it's the FA Cup, which is still a special competition.

"I'm a Newcastle fan and so to have the chance to be the sponsor for this game in particular, it was an opportunity we couldn't turn down and it's a proud moment for us both."
