Rovers have made just one change for the FA Cup tie at Newcastle United.
Tony Mowbray has gone with a strong team for the third round tie at St James’ Park.
The only change sees Craig Conway come in for Harrison Reed who is on the bench.
That means the likes of Bradley Dack and Danny Graham keep their places, while Adam Armstrong will start on the left against the club he left in the summer.
Elliott Bennett will continue at right back in the absence of Ryan Nyambe, who is back on the bench after a hamstring injury, having trained for the last two days.
Conway makes his first start since the draw with Birmingham City last month after overcoming a thigh injury, featuring off the bench in the last two matches.
Lewis Travis, after impressing against Sheffield United and West Brom, keeps his place in the middle of midfield.
Derrick Williams also returns to the squad after missing the West Brom win.
Rovers: David Raya, Elliott Bennett, Darragh Lenihan, Charlie Mulgrew, Amari’i Bell, Lewis Travis, Corry Evans, Craig Conway, Bradley Dack, Adam Armstrong, Danny Graham
Subs: Jayson Leutwiler, Ryan Nyambe, Paul Downing, Derrick Williams, Harrison Reed, Joe Rothwell, Ben Brereton
