Danny Graham has triggered the one year extension in the contract he signed in June and will remain at Rovers until the summer of 2020.

The striker achieved the number of games needed to activate a further year at Ewood Park over the festive period, with the deal announced by the club alongside the permanent signing of Ben Brereton from Nottingham Forest.

The 33-year-old, who signed for Rovers permanently in the summer of 2016 after a spell on loan, made his 20th start of this campaign in the New Year's Day win over West Brom.

Graham has nine goals this term, including a hat-trick in the win over Sheffield Wednesday on December 1.

In all, Graham has played 131 times for Rovers, scoring 46 goals.
