ERIC Kinder has left his position as Head of Academy at Blackburn Rovers with immediate effect.
Kinder was appointed to the post in March 2015 replacing Phil Cannon having previously been in charge of Rovers Under-21s.
The lifelong Rovers fan previously worked in the club's academy from 1996-2006 before leaving for Carlisle United. He returned to Ewood in 2013.
A statement on Rovers' website said: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank Eric for all his work at the club, specifically as Head of Academy.
"He leaves with our best wishes, good luck for the future and will always be welcome back as a supporter."
The club is expected to announce a replacement for Kinder in due course.
