After two straight home wins, Preston travel to west London this Saturday to take on Queens Park Rangers.

While Preston have won their last two matches, QPR are without a win from theirs but one man who will know all about the threat the Lilywhites will pose is striker Patrick Agyemang.

The Ghanaian international moved to Loftus Road in the January 2008 transfer window after spending no fewer than four years at Deepdale.

Last season Agyemang saw his best ever goal return having finished the season with nine goals in seventeen starts but is currently without a goal since September.

While turning his own fortunes around, Agyemang will be hoping that at the same time he can get one over his former employers.

The only time Agyemang has come up against Preston since his move from Deepdale was the corresponding fixture last April.

Despite having a two-goal lead, Preston were pegged back to 2-2 after two goals in the closing moments denied Preston the win.

Former North End favourite Gareth Ainsworth netted the first on 90 minutes before Dexter Blackstock equalised deep into injury time.

North End have enjoyed some good results in recent years at Loftus Road.

Despite the aforementioned draw last April, Preston have lost just once to Rangers on their patch since the promotion to the Championship in 2004.

More notably, Preston fans will recall David Nugent’s first goal for Preston in a 2-1 win back in February 2005 as well as the 2-0 win in November of the same year where, again, Nugent was on the score sheet.

With no fresh injury concerns for Preston, Eddie Nolan is set to keep his place at right-back following the injury to Billy Jones.

Nolan, like fellow defender Sean St Ledger and goalkeeper Andrew Lonergan, needed treatment to a head wound sustained during the win over Birmingham on Saturday but that shouldn’t be an issue for the weekend.
