COLNE came out on the wrong end of a six goal scoreline after a dramatic second half against AFC Liverpool. The game looked to be heading for a scoreless draw with neither side able to break the deadlock in the first half but five minutes after the interval, AFC took the lead from a John Lawless penalty.
Two minutes later, Colne were on level terms when Tom Berwick blasted in a free kick from 25 yards.
Liverpool regained their lead on the hour through Lawless before Ryan Cox scored a third.
Colne came back strongly and Nathan Bond reduced the deficit to 3-2 but Josh Purcell got a fourth goal for Liverpool with a shot off the post.
