Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart is being linked with a move to Lille.

The French outfit could make a move for the 32-year-old should they sell their number one Mike Maignan, according to the Daily Mail.

Hart is widely expected to leave Turf Moor this summer with Tom Heaton having ousted him as Sean Dyche’s main man between the sticks in the second half of last season.

That coincided with the Clarets pulling clear of danger to finish 15th in the Premier League.

Former Manchester City man Hart, one of three England keepers currently at the club, then saw Nick Pope sign a new long term contract having played just twice last season due to a shoulder injury.

A move to the French Champions League club would be the latest attempt by Hart to revive his career.

He joined the Clarets for £4 million last summer having spent time on loan with Torino in Italy and West Ham United.

Burnley’s goalkeeping situation was always going to be a talking point over the summer and was seemingly complicated further with reports Tom Heaton had turned down the offer of a new contract.

The club captain, who replaced Hart following the 5-1 defeat at home to Everton on Boxing Day, has 12 months to run on his current deal.

Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Bournemouth have been linked with moves for Heaton.
