Tom Heaton has reportedly turned down the offer of a new contract at Burnley.
The club captain has a year to run on his current deal meaning he could leave for free in 12 months.
The 33-year-old regained his place at the Clarets’ No.1 in the second-half of last season having battled for the gloves with Nick Pope and Joe Hart.
That form as Burnley finished 15th in the Premier League saw him recalled to the England squad by Gareth Southgate.
Hart’s future is up in the air but Pope has signed a new contract, meaning Sean Dyche has a decision to make between the sticks as competition remains fierce.
According to the Daily Mirror Heaton has now rebuffed a contract offer having passed 200 games for the Clarets in the final-day defeat to Arsenal at Turf Moor.
