BURNLEY striker Peter Crouch has been ruled out of tomorrow's trip to Bournemouth after undergoing an operation.
The former England international needed surgery on his appendix, as he also missed last weekend's win against Wolves at Turf Moor.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche is unsure on how long the striker will be out of action for.
"We'll find out more off the specialist, but they're reasonably happy so far," said Dyche.
"On the one hand, they say an appendix doesn't do a lot, but when it flares up you've got to be careful with it and we'll have to wait on a specialist view."
The boss reported no new injuries ahead of the trip to the South Coast.
