BURNLEY boss Sean Dyche believes his team's recent run of form is more likely to lead to progress than complacency. The Clarets are eight unbeaten in the Premier League ahead of a trip to Newcastle United on Tuesday.

The recent run of form has seen them move six points clear of the bottom three and up to 14th in the table.

But Dyche knows the job is not finished yet and believes his players will continue to strive for success.

"This group are well aware of the task in the Premier League," he said.

"They know how tough it is, there is no complacency on that view.

"If anything the run we have been and continue to be on brings energy, more focus and more desire and that is what we want.

"We want to continue to find that consistency of performance.

"Early season we had pockets in games when we were very, very good and now we are putting that into 95 minute performances. That is the most pleasing thing."
