We rate the players after Burnley's 2-1 win over Spurs

Tom Heaton 8

Had very little to do in the opening 45 minutes but made an excellent save to deny Kane early in the second half. Could do little with the goal.

Phil Bardsley 7

As committed as ever on the right side of defence and was part of a Burnley backline that worked incredibly hard to limit Spurs to few chances.

James Tarkowski 8

Dealt with the twin threat of Kane and Son well in the first half, showed good anticipation and rarely put a foot wrong.

Ben Mee 8

Made one excellent hooked clearance from a Son centre in the first half and marshalled the Burnley backline well

Charlie Taylor 7

Continues to adapt well to the Premier League. Solid defensively and got forward well when possible, particularly in the second half.

Jeff Hendrick 7

Impressing on the right in recent weeks. Worked hard defensively and going forward and is able to tuck in to provide the defence with more protection when needed.

Ashley Westwood 7

Tenacious in the tackle and on more than one occasion displayed glimpses of his creativity. Growing into a proven Premier League operator.

Jack Cork 7

Burnley’s central midfield pair might have gone unnoticed but they got through a huge workload, so much so that Harry Winks and Mo Sissoko were barely in the game

Dwight McNeil 8

Bright in the early stages and continued to carry a threat all afternoon. Neat piece of skill led to the corner from which Wood scored.

Chris Wood 7

Broke the deadlock with a towering header 10 minutes into the second half. Sign of a confident player that he took the one real chance he had.

Ashley Barnes 8 (MOM)

Came close to a goal with a wonderful curling effort late in the first half before tapping home the winner late on. Industrious.
