We rate the players after Burnley were beaten 3-1 at Arsenal

Joe Hart `6

Beaten three times but could do little with either. Made a couple of regulation saves and passed the ball out well

Phil Bardsley 6

Was caught out by Ozil’s delicate pass for opener but remained committed. Subbed late on.

Ben Mee 6

Made a couple of key interceptions but one heavy touch in the first half could have proved costly.

James Tarkowski 6

Solid at the back and displayed strong positional sense. Got his fair share of blocks and tackles in.

Kevin Long 7

Another strong performance from the Irishman. Made an excellent tackle on Lacazette and performed well.

Charlie Taylor 6

Got forward well but couldn’t find his range with his crossing. Solid defensively.

Ashley Westwood 6

Hassled and harried and generally got the better of Elneny and Guendozi. Missed big early chance.

Jack Cork 6

Led the press for the Clarets but was caught on the ball for Arsenal second and skewed late chance over.

Jeff Hendrick 5

Struggled to impose himself on the game in a midfield three but worked hard.

Chris Wood 6

After a quiet first half he was more involved after the break but didn’t get a clear sight of goal

Ashley Barnes 7

Didn’t enamour himself to the Arsenal fans but took goal well and led the line to good effect.
